01Overview
A pair of Wisefab motorsport halfshafts for the E36 rear axle, rated to 1500 hp.
Wisefab set the shaft strength deliberately just below the strength of the differential output shafts. That is the whole idea: when something in the driveline has to give, it is the shaft — the cheap part — and not the diff.
The shaft twists instead of snapping. Past its torque limit the material yields rather than fractures. These shafts will twist 90 degrees, often 180, sometimes a full turn, and still get you to the end of the run. Nothing moves until the torque limit is actually reached.
CV joints built for angle and mileage. Low wear, high strength, 50 degrees of articulation on the outer joint.
If a shaft has taken a permanent twist of more than 90 degrees, replace it.

04Fitment
Fits the BMW E36 rear axle, and the Wisefab WF361 rear knuckle kit, which requires 30-spline shafts.
05Before You Order
Check the length before you order
The shafts adjust between 524 and 570 mm measured from the wheel bearing face to the inner flange. Measure your car — a widened or modified rear end can fall outside that window.

6 × 94 bolt pattern. Confirm your differential output flanges match before ordering.
When to replace one
A twisted shaft is doing its job. Up to 90 degrees of permanent twist it stays in service. Past that, replace it — the material has given what it had.
