01Overview
Four eccentric rear trailing arm bushes — the ones you fit when the car is on the floor and the rear geometry has run out of adjustment.

The bore sits 3 mm off the axis of the bush. Turn it, and you pull the arm back into range: that is toe and camber recovered on a car that has been dropped past what BMW planned for.

90 ShA polyurethane — the yellow SPORT compound. StrongFlex build this grade for tuned and lowered cars: the suspension gets noticeably stiffer, the geometry stops moving under load and the car holds its line when you push it. This is the hardness that goes into a drift or track E36.

Every StrongFlex product ships with the correct grease for fitting.

04Fitment
Fits the 27 mm rear arm bush across a long run of rear-drive BMWs — including the E36 Compact (93–00) and the Z3 E36/7 (94–02).

E28, E24 and E23: these cars came with two rear arm bush diameters — 27 mm (this kit) and 44 mm (036235). Cars built up to 09/82 use 27 mm, after 09/82 44 mm. Measure yours before ordering; the date is a guide, not a guarantee.

Why eccentric
A standard centric bush puts the arm exactly where the factory put it. That is right for a standard car. Lower the car and the arm angle changes — toe goes out, camber goes with it, and the tyre wears on one edge.

Rotating an eccentric bush moves the pivot up to 3 mm in any direction, which is enough to bring a lowered rear axle back into a usable alignment window. Set it on the alignment rack, not by eye.
