01Overview
This is the lower mount bush of the rear shock absorber, in polyurethane.
Movement at the bottom of the damper is movement the damper never sees. On a lowered car it also lets the bottom eye deflect sideways under load.
80 ShA polyurethane — the red street compound. Firmer and far longer-lived than the factory rubber, but soft enough that the car stays civil on a bad road. This is the grade for a daily driver.
Polyurethane locates the bottom eye properly, so the whole stroke of the damper does its job.
