This is the rear upper control arm bush, in polyurethane.
The upper arm controls rear toe and camber under load. Soft rubber here is a big part of why an old E9x rear end feels loose and refuses to hold an alignment.
90 ShA polyurethane — the yellow SPORT compound. StrongFlex build this grade for tuned and lowered cars: the suspension gets noticeably stiffer, the geometry stops moving under load and the car holds its line when you push it.
Polyurethane keeps the arm located, so the rear stays planted and the alignment actually holds.
Every StrongFlex product ships with the correct grease for fitting.
