This is the rear beam mounting bush — the pair that bolts the whole rear axle beam to the shell, in polyurethane.
On a tired car the rubber here lets the beam walk under power. The rear steers itself a few millimetres every time you get on or off the throttle, and the car feels like it is hunting for a line instead of holding one.
90 ShA polyurethane — the yellow SPORT compound. StrongFlex build this grade for tuned and lowered cars: the suspension gets noticeably stiffer, the geometry stops moving under load and the car holds its line when you push it.
In polyurethane the beam stays where you put it. Turn-in gets sharper and the rear stops shifting mid-corner.
